Joe Bonacci is a recording and performing guitarist and musical director of Manhattan Swing Orchestras who has played through out the New York area. As leader of Manhattan Swing Orchestras, he has performed at over 1000 special events and shows in virtually every event space that New York has to offer. He’s written music for film and TV, including music for “The Acting Company,” a documentary premiered by Film Society Of Lincoln Center chronicling the story of the John Houseman and Julliard touring company and for a series on the Food Network. Completing tracks on John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s last joint project and on a recording with mambo king great, Tito Puente, Joe’s versatile guitar playing can be heard on records, television programs and TV commercials. Joe's original music has performed at leading music venues including Sounds Of Brazil, Town Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Sugar Bar.
